Directions & Parking (to Shuttle Bus Lots)
Celebrate Fairfax! provides free shuttle buses to the event for patrons! Free parking is available at Fair Oaks Mall and Fair Lakes Circle. Shuttles run throughout the festival. Directions can be found below, along with a map to help clarify where to park and ride. If you are traveling to Fair Oaks Mall from the Vienna Metro, the Metrobus system is what you are looking for! It is easy to use and easy to plan a bus trip by clicking here.

From I-66 (East or West)
Take the Route 50 West exit and stay in the right lane. There will be an exit ramp into Fair Oaks Shopping Center, after which you will make a right hand turn into the perimeter road surrounding the mall. Simply park and ride to the festival!
From Route 50 Eastbound
Take Route 7100 South, also known as the Fairfax County Parkway. Take a left at the second stoplight to get onto Fair Lakes Parkway, after which you’ll take a right at the first stoplight onto Fair Lakes Circle. The shuttle bus lot will be on your right; simply park and ride to the festival!
From Route 50 Westbound / 29 Southbound
At the intersection of Route 50 and Main Street, continue on Route 50 and take the ramp into Fair Oaks Shopping Center. Take a left turn onto the Mall’s perimeter road and follow the signs for the shuttle bus lot. Simply park and ride to the festival!
From Route 29 Northbound
Take Route 7100, also known as Fairfax County Parkway. Exit North towards Fair Lakes, and at the stoplight make a right turn onto Fair Lakes Parkway. At the first stoplight, take a right turn onto Fair Lakes Circle. Follow the signs to the shuttle bus lot and simply park and ride to the festival!
From Fairfax County Parkway (7100) Southbound
Make a left turn at the stoplight onto Fair Lakes Parkway, and then take the second right at the stoplight onto Fair Lakes Circle. Follow the signs to the shuttle bus parking lot, then simply park and ride to the festival!
From Fairfax County Parkway (7100) Northbound
Continue past the exit for Route 66 and at the stoplight, make a right turn onto Fair Lakes Parkway. Take the first right at the stoplight onto Fair Lakes Circle and follow the signs to the shuttle bus lot. Simply park and ride to the festival!
Parking (with permit)
All festival parking permit holders must enter through the United Bank Green Gate. If you have a VIP festival parking permit or Exhibitor permit, you may park in the underground parking garage. Performers and Friends of the Festival permit holders will be directed from the United Bank Green Gate to the appropriate surface parking lot. Vehicles with DMV-issued handicapped tags may enter through the United Bank Green Gate; however, any such vehicle over 6.5 feet tall should enter through the Wegmans Yellow Gate. Absentee voters must enter through the United Bank Green Gate.
Line-Up
Celebrate Fairfax! has an incredible list of performers set up for this year’s entertainment! The line-up has enough variety to please anyone, and features three national headliners and over 90 other live performances on 8 stages!
This year’s headliners are the Legends of Hip-Hop hosted by Flavor Flav featuring Digital Underground, Rob Base, DJ Kool and Young MC on Friday June 8th at 8pm, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo on Saturday June 9th at 8pm and the Legwarmers on Sunday June 10th at 4:30pm. In addition to the headliner shows, dozens of local and regional artists will be performing throughout the weekend. Don’t miss out on this incredible musical experience!

Celebrate Fairfax! is Northern Virginia’s largest community-wide event being held at the Fairfax County Government Center from Friday, June 8th through Sunday June 10th. This event features 25 acres of amazing concerts, family programs, science and green living, thrilling carnival rides and nightly fireworks! Tickets are available online and at the gate. Don’t miss out on this terrific event!

Is handicapped parking available at the festival?
Yes, Celebrate Fairfax! is accessible for persons with disabilities. On-site parking at the Fairfax County Government Center is available for persons with valid handicapped permits.

In addition to our outstanding entertainment schedule, there are plenty of enhancements to the already extensive festival programming at Celebrate Fairfax!
Highlights include:
- 300+ activities and exhibits and more than 40 food vendors. The OnTap Craft Beer Garden and Silent Disco features craft brews and exceptional acoustic artists by day, and dueling DJs in a club-like atmosphere by night.
- The Extreme Zone featuring a dodgeball tournament, Go-Racers and a Water Balloon Battle Station.
- A thrilling Zipline Zip Zone is located at the center of the site. Experience the rush of the most exciting mobile zip line in the world, as you zip from 28 feet up in the air over 100 feet of distance. Ages 6 and up. $5 per rider/$3 with carnival hand stamp.
- Greenology: The Science of Green Living utilizes interactive activities and eco-friendly exhibits to educate and motivate guests on leading a greener.
- Amusements of America Carnival and the KidWay MidWay.
- National Capital Trackers model train exhibit in the Forum of the Government Center.
- Programs in ExxonMobil Children's Avenue have a basis in education, fun, and imagination. All activities are interactive. Here you will find a petting zoo, Busch Garden's Children's stage, the Inova Health System Train Ride to Good Health, Kids Crafts and more!
- Radio Disney Fun Fair, featuring the Radio Disney Dance Party with music, games and prizes, plus pony rides and a fantastic farmers market.
- The SAIC Fireworks on Friday and Saturday night beginning at 9:30pm.
- 30 food and drink vendors with enough variety to please anyone!
